He broke his bat!
This Iowa Cubs player wasn't having the best day after smashing his bat in several pieces.
Just had a fun day at the ballpark! It was sunny and warm with just a few clouds rolling through the sky making for just about perfect weather.
I sat down low just above the Cub's bunch for the whole time making it super close to the action.
This was a play made at first base after a bunt, and the runner was called out.
The Cubs weren't doing so well and were losing by quite a bit by the time the 7th inning stretch came along. (We got there a bit late as well about an hour already into the game)
Anyways, it was just a good way of spending a Memorial Day at the end of a three day weekend!
