San Fransisco Sunset
We arrived in Petaluma just north of San Fransisco about an hour ahead of sunset. We rushed into our cabin for the night just before driving to the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was very popular to take photos at this location which was a completely different experience from the Tetons.
Setting up my tripod on the edge of the cliff I pointed it towards the bridge with the city in the background. We had about twenty minutes of waiting before the sun was below the horizon and giving me a good sky. For such a popular location it was very challenging to get a good composition with everything just right.
There was also a lot of wind causing the grass in the foreground to move around and blur in the long exposure. I was planning on including a sharp foreground element, but that just wasn't going to be possible. I made do with what I had, and this is what I ended up with after all the racing around, excitement, and danger.
