There are many challenges to overcome in landscape photography. While everyone encounters their own obstacles to overcome during their photographic journeys. These are some of what I have found to cause the greatest disappointments in my own photography.

I found that especially when starting out or in the middle of a big photography trip I will ignore anything and everything that doesn’t contribute to me taking photos. While this does make sure I come home with a lot of images on memory cards I am not really enjoying the adventure as much as I could be and I don’t think I am doing my best work.

Top Ten Images of 2019

A lot has happened in 2019, but much of it hasn’t been photography related. I haven’t even purchased any new photography gear in an entire calendar year! In my personal life I have gotten married, moved, and earned a promotion. We got married in Hawaii, which is a great photography location, but the trip was not meant for taking landscape images. So, while I haven’t really done anything major in photography in 2019 it doesn’t mean I wasn’t able to capture some really nice images!
