Top Ten Photography Podcasts

Nick Page does a great job of producing a high quality audio podcast with interesting content, topics, and top tier guests. It is not that old of a podcast so you could easily binge-listen on a road trip, and I would highly recommend doing so. Lots of great episodes and worth the subscription!

The PetaPixel Photography Podcast is one of the most listened to podcasts out there. Put out by the largest photography news website it is easy to see how this one is as successful as it is. The host, "Sharky", is fun and brings a unique perspective as a former photojournalist. "It’s a fusion of news, opinions, humor, and real-world experience, bundled into a show that you can listen to on your way to work." This is an easy suggestion to listen and subscribe to!

These guys are just great! The podcast is centralized around the idea of encouraging others to get out there and have an adventure with photography. The hosts of the show have been talking about theirs through the struggles and eventual successes that they find along the way. It is a world class show with great guests and genres of photography mostly focused on landscapes and astrophotography.

This is an interview-based photography podcast focused mainly on landscape photographers and their stories. It packs in some big-name individuals along with some others you might not have heard of yet. While the theme is fairly niche the conversations tend to be unique and interesting in their own ways each time. I have found every piece of content enjoyable and eye opening in one way or another!

Hosted by Jeff Harmon this podcast is a bit different from every other out there. It will bridge the technical side of computers with photography making it all relevant to the least savvy of us. If you need to learn the technical sides of photography from shooting to printing this podcast has or will cover it!

Make more money, get bigger clients and learn to avoid the mistakes other have made. Fast track your success by learning from the best in the photography industry." - Josh Rossi's description. This podcast has been long-since dead without any new episodes since 2016, but with a long backlog of great episodes and guests you are sure to get value from listening!

This podcast was dead in the water for the longest time, but it is finally being revived this year (2018)! Take a look through its old episodes for some great interviews and introspective ideas around photography. If you like philosophical conversations this is definitely one to subscribe to.

I was very excited for this podcast when it started because the hosts coming from the YouTube are both very talented content producers. Their videos are interesting and technically proficient which translates well into the podcast format. A nice place to get additional tips, tricks, and scientific perspectives on different photography news topics!
