Let’s face it. No one actually enjoys being the third wheel on a date. You can be with your best friend, whom you love to pieces, and their fling-of-the-month, whom you tolerate, but you will never enjoy it as much as just being with your friend.

When looking at art there can be said to be a wide variety of styles, mediums, genres, and sub-genres. To say all of this can get noisy is an understatement. It is most easily seen in a poorly laid out gallery that mashes them all together as a collage of chaotic pieces with nothing in common.
Read MoreTop Ten Images of 2019
A lot has happened in 2019, but much of it hasn’t been photography related. I haven’t even purchased any new photography gear in an entire calendar year! In my personal life I have gotten married, moved, and earned a promotion. We got married in Hawaii, which is a great photography location, but the trip was not meant for taking landscape images. I have had experiences with off-brand batteries being unsafe, cheap memory cards failing, and cheap 3rd party lenses offering results worse than the original iPhone when paired with a modern DSLR. So, I have compiled a list of ‘better’ ideas for saving money as a landscape photographer.

You can like different mediums with paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, etc… However, the most consistent variable that people have a preference for is the size of the works.
